Irish Flutes - Placing an Order

Ordering

Ordering a flute is very simple - just make a copy of the order form on the next page, paste it into your email program, amend it to show your preferences and send it to me.  I'll ask you for a small non-refundable deposit to confirm the order.

Receipt of the deposit confirms your place in the queue. Also, when your deposit is received, I rough out your flute so that the wood can spend the maximum time stabilising. This ensures the highest level of precision and long-term reliability.

I'll contact you again just before I start the finishing process to make sure that none of the specifications for your flute have changed, and to advise you of any other options that might have come along in the meantime.  I'll also get you to finalise payment and confirm shipping details.

Prices

You'll find the prices on the next page.  They are kept up to date and firm once an order is placed.

Other Currencies

Because my customers are all over the world, and to make it easier to compare prices by different makers, I've expressed them in USD, which seems to be as close as we can get to an international standard.

For customers outside these regions, your bank can give you the current conversion rate to USD, or click here to go to Xenon Laboratories' currency conversion utility.

Payment

Payment can be made by:

  • Direct Transfer to my account via your bank (Australian customers)
  • International Bank Draft (Overseas customers)
  • Paypal
  • Cash (recommended for locals only!)

Let me know how you would prefer to pay and I'll send you some further information.

Warranty

My instruments carry a one year warranty against defective workmanship. I ask you to bear the cost of returning the instrument for attention.

Money Back Guarantee

A mark of my confidence in my work and my instruments is that I am happy to offer a money back guarantee on any normal instrument. (Obviously if you have ordered something extremely unusual, this may not be practical).  A variation on that is exchange for another model. If you feel you should have purchased a different flute in my range, I'll happily exchange instruments.

In both cases, I would ask you to cover the cost of returning the instrument safely in as-new condition within 30 days of receiving the flute.

Cancellation

In the event you decide to cancel your order, we will retain your deposit to cover our administrative costs.
